ABOUT BOOK
Ikigai explores the Japanese idea of having a reason to live — something that gives meaning to our days and makes us want to get up in the morning.
Inspired by the lives of the long-living people of Okinawa, the book suggests that happiness is not necessarily found in extraordinary achievements. It can exist in simple routines: doing something you love, staying active, nurturing friendships, eating with moderation, being present, and continuing to feel useful throughout life.
More than finding one grand purpose, Ikigai is about building a life filled with small reasons to keep moving forward.
